About Best Custom Domain URL Shortener
What this site is, where the numbers come from, and how to get a correction made.
What this site does
Best Custom Domain URL Shortener answers one question: how to run short links on a domain you own. For ten URL shorteners it records whether a custom domain is included free, how many domains each paid tier allows, whether the certificate is issued automatically, and the yearly cost of the cheapest plan that includes a branded domain. Around that data it keeps a small set of practical entries on DNS setup, naming, certificates and troubleshooting. Broader rankings live on the hub at Best URL Shorteners.
How the data is gathered
- Published numbers only. Limits and prices come from each vendor's own public pricing page, listed on the sources page. Where a page could not be read directly, the entry says so and names the secondary source.
- No star ratings. Third-party review scores are easy to buy and hard to audit, so they are not used.
- Dated and re-checked. Pricing pages are re-verified at least monthly and whenever a vendor announces a plan change. Every page shows its review date.
Who runs it
The site is operated by the team that builds ReSlug, one of the tools compared here, and is part of a group of related reference sites described on the related websites page. Rankings follow the published criteria on the methodology page; where another tool is stronger on those criteria it is ranked higher.
Corrections
If a limit or price has changed, email hello@bestcustomdomainurlshortener.com with a link to the vendor page and it will be re-checked within a few days.
